Wan 2.1 is the February 2025 generation of Alibaba's open Wan video models: 1.3B and 14B weights for text-to-video and image-to-video. It has been superseded by Wan 2.2 (July 2025), which gives clearly better motion, detail and prompt following with the same kind of workflows, so there is no reason to start with Wan 2.1 in 2026 or later. This page stays as a reference for the older LoRAs and workflows that were made for it.
