Model Torrents

Base model checkpoints are large, and hub downloads are often rate limited. This page will list verified torrents for popular open-weight models so they can be fetched peer to peer, with checksums you can trust.

Status

No torrents are listed yet. We are preparing a first set of base model checkpoints with checksums and official source links.

How a listing is verified

  • Every entry shows the file size, the SHA-256 checksum, the license and a link to the official release page.
  • We only list files published by the model author or the organization that released the model.
  • Safetensors files only. Pickle-based checkpoints are not listed because they can run code when loaded.

Staying safe

  • Compare the checksum of the finished download with the one on the listing before you load the file.
  • Use a torrent client that supports web seeds so the official download acts as a fallback peer.
  • Respect the license that ships with each model. Some weights are research-only or non-commercial.
