Vad är Stability Matrix?

Stability Matrix is a free package manager for AI image apps. Instead of installing each UI by hand, you pick it from a list and Stability Matrix downloads it, sets up its Python environment and keeps it updated. Its model browser searches Civitai and Hugging Face and downloads checkpoints and LoRAs straight into a shared models folder that every installed app uses. It also includes Inference, its own simple generation interface running on ComfyUI.
Use Stability Matrix if you want to try several apps without filling your disk with duplicate models, or if you find manual Python installs frustrating. It is the easiest way to get ComfyUI, Forge and A1111 running side by side on Windows, Mac or Linux.

Så hämtar och installerar du Stability Matrix

  1. Download Stability Matrix for your system from the GitHub releases page (a portable .exe for Windows, a .dmg for Mac, an AppImage for Linux).
  2. Run it and choose a data folder on a drive with plenty of space; all packages and models go there. Portable mode keeps everything in one folder.
  3. In the Packages screen, click Add Package and pick ComfyUI, Stable Diffusion WebUI Forge, A1111, Fooocus, SwarmUI, InvokeAI or another; choose the GPU type and install.
  4. Open the Checkpoint Manager to see your shared models, and the Model Browser to search Civitai and download models with their preview images.

Så använder du Stability Matrix

  1. Select an installed package and press Launch; the app opens in your browser as if you had installed it yourself.
  2. Use the Launch Options (the gear icon on the package) to add flags such as --lowvram or --listen without editing batch files.
  3. Download a model in the Model Browser: it lands in the shared folder and appears in every app after a refresh.
  4. Drag any folder of existing models into the Checkpoint Manager to import them; choose link instead of copy to save space.
  5. Try the Inference tab for a quick generation interface with a prompt box, model selector and LoRA list, running on your installed ComfyUI.
  6. Update a package from the Packages screen when an update badge appears; your models and settings are kept.

Tips och vanliga problem

  • Keep the shared models folder outside OneDrive or iCloud; cloud sync of huge model files causes problems.
  • If a package fails to start after an update, use the package menu to reinstall its Python environment; models are untouched.
  • Log in to Civitai in the settings to download models that require an account.
  • Each package has its own folder under Data/Packages; you can still edit configs there by hand.
